What kind of interview are you hoping to schedule?
Things to be aware of before scheduling your appointment:
Appointments are normally scheduled Sunday 9AM-5PM and Wednesdays 7-9PM.
Since there are over 2500 members in the stake, sometimes the presidency are fully booked more than a week in advance. So please contact us well ahead of any deadlines. But if you do have an exceptionally urgent situation, let us know up front, and we'll try to accommodate you.
For a sealing recommend interview, the stake presidency like to meet with you 1-2 weeks before your marriage date, and if possible they like to meet with both you and your fiancee together.
President Webber holds two interviews with missionary applicants, normally separated by about a week. In the first he'll get to know you and discuss missionary work, and in the second one you'll demonstrate teaching a brief principle from the missionary lessons and you'll answer the interview questions required by the Church.
Before your first missionary interview, all of your application should be submitted except possibly the physician's and dentist's evaluation forms. Those should be submitted and processed before your second interview so everything is ready to submit your name to Church Headquarters.
Continuing students do not need a stake interview to continue attending a church school; the bishop's endorsement is enough. A stake interview is needed if you're applying for admission to a church school, returning after a break of a year or more, or in some exceptional situations.
Things to be aware of before coming to your appointment:
We'll send you, as an email, a form letter from the stake presidency with some things to think about to help you prepare for your interview.
The stake offices are in the southwest corner of the stake center, 710 S 800 E Orem. (Of the two buildings on that lot it's the one closer to 800 E and to the mountains. Most of the wards in the stake meet in this building.)
Remember to bring the paper live ordinance recommend signed by your bishop.
Sunday dress is recommended for any interview with the stake presidency.
