  • Other Classes and Opportunities
    • Family History Center – 7:00 pm ****(Details)Wednesdays, 7:00 pm to 8:00 pm. The family history center will be open. Each ward will be assigned to staff the family history center on a rotating basis. In addition to providing at least two individuals to help people with family history tasks, leaders should encourage other members of their ward to attend the week that they are assigned.
    • Come to Jesus – 7:00 pm, North Relief Society Room with Brother and Sister WalkerBrother and Sister Walker will be teaching an “Understanding and Applying the Atonement of Jesus Christ”. All are welcome to come to this class. There will be six lessons; feel free to join any time. Don’t come alone, bring a friend with you. Come discover a new way to power your life!
    • Temple Prep Class – 7:00 pm, South Relief Society Room with Sister Janine Salvesen
    • Marriage Preparation Class – 7:00 pm; Please RSVP to Sister Rumsey 801-404-0742

    • Each Wednesday night in the Stake Center cultural hall. Dinner starts at 8:00pm. Combined with 10th Stake.

• Stake Temple and Family History Council – Wednesday, ****Jan 18, 7 pm; Stake FamilySearch Center **** For all Ward T&FH Leaders and Elders Quorum and Relief Society Counselors over T&FH
• Stake Audit Committee Meeting – Wednesday, Jan 18, 7 pm; High Council Room. This is for stake auditors and others who belong to the stake audit committee.
• Stake Volleyball – Thursday, ****Jan 19, 7 pm to 10 pm; Stake Center Cultural Hall
• Stake Missionary Coordination meeting – Sunday, Jan 22, 4 pm; High Council Room. This meeting is for Ward Mission leaders and a Ward Sister Missionary from each ward.
• Women’s Conference with the YSA 2nd Stake: Maintaining Hope – Saturday, Jan 28, 10 am, 824 W 800 S Orem, UT. The YSA 2nd stake has invited the women of our stake to join their women’s conference with Sister Reyna Aburto.

• March Forth in Christ YSA Conference – Saturday, March 4th, 9 am (Toggle for details)Mark your calendars for March 4th!! We will be having a Stake Young Adult Conference. Speakers like Tyler Griffin, Tammy Hill, Ben Schilaty, and Jenedy Paige will be coming to speak to us on how to stay connected to Christ. Lunch will be provided! Look for a flyer next week will all the information!

Ongoing Initiatives

• Lamb of God Rehearsals and Signup; Every Saturday morning at 9 am Singers and performers are also needed for the choir and orchestra, no auditions required. Sign up by following the link above or contact Sam Abramson: sabramson15@gmail.com
• FSY Counselors Needed; Applications Due January 31, 2023. (Toggle for details)Applications for 2023 are currently open to YSA’s interested in working next summer as FSY Counselors and closing much earlier this year—January 31, 2023. They need to hire approximately 3000+ staff members for next summer. There will be a devotional this Sunday for those interested, see included attachments. • Self-reliance Classes Offered by Wards (Toggle for details)Please contact your Elders Quorum Presidency, Relief Society Presidency, or Bishopric member for information on classes. All classrooms in the stake center need to be scheduled through the stake clerk, Bro. Doug Draper.
